The Mobile Connect Card offers you affordable, always available access to the Internet and e-mail. Its simple to use – just insert the mobile connect card into your laptop and log on, you don’t need any specialised knowledge or equipment. Desktop users can also get the benefit of an always available Internet / data connection through utilizing a non expensive PCMCIA card adapter available on request.

The Connect Card acts as a modem that connects you to the Internet via GSM 3G networks. Compared to the average home dial up connection to the Internet, which only offers 56 kilobytes per second, Webstorm 3G could deliver speeds as much as 6 times faster. Where 3G coverage is not available, customers will be able to fall back onto the GPRS network that already covers most of South Africa. You pay for the amount of data that you send and receive and not the time you spend on line, so you save on dial up charges.

No more snail paced downloads. With the Mobile Connect card you can experience speeds up to 6 times faster the average home dial up and four times faster than the standard ISDN speeds.

A number of subscription packages are available to suit your pocket. You only pay for what you download, (not how long you spend reading emails or web pages). Access to the Internet is automatic, and there is no need to pay additional ISP charges.

These packages are subject to signing a 24-month Webstorm contract. Credit vetting approval will apply.

• When data usage exceeds the appropriate bundle, this usage will be rated at the out of bundle charge (R1.00/ MB)
• No carry-over of bundled or unused bytes to the next month
• The software accompanying the Vodafone Mobile Connect Card includes a usage counter, aimed at giving an indication of the HSDPA, 3G, EDGE or GPRS (MB) that has been consumed during the use of the Vodafone Mobile Connect Card.
• The usage counter gives as accurate a reflection of data usage as possible, but accuracy can not be guaranteed
• We will not accept any responsibility or liability for inaccurate indications of data usage in the software and any possible discrepancies between the usage counter and actual data usage that the customer will be billed for.
